Dr. Mahmood is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support, as well as pediatric advanced life support, demonstrating his commitment to patient safety. He completed four years of intensive oral surgery training, serving as Chief Resident during his final year (2012–2013), accumulating a total of 11 years of graduate surgical, medical, and dental education. Beyond his rigorous clinical and surgical training, Dr. Mahmood is a dedicated educator. He has delivered numerous lectures on topics ranging from cosmetic surgery to facial trauma and infections, presenting at Facial Trauma and regional oral surgery conferences. His contributions to the field include publications in the renowned Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and authorship in an Oral Pathology textbook. Dr. Mahmood believes in empowering patients through education, always taking the time to clearly explain disease conditions and treatment options in understandable terms for both patients and their families.
